Oreña is a coastal town that has 4 kilometers of splendid cliffs that allow the traveler to observe all the greatness of the Cantabrico coast. The hermitage of San Bartolomé (tenth century), the Casa de Calderón (1730) and the hermitage of San Tito offer a rich cultural heritage.

Walking along its paths we discover a beautiful natural environment where the cliffs are the protagonists. The Calderón Port of Roman origin is an inlet where we can find some fishing boats sailing, while cows and horses graze in the surrounding meadows.

​

 

The proximity of Santillana del Mar allows the traveler to make another getaway with a lot of history. You can see its famous medieval church of Santa Juliana, from the 12th century.

​

 

Just two kilometers away, we discover the Sistine Chapel of the Quaternary, the Altamira Caves with its well-known and important cave paintings, declared World Heritage. The traveler can see a replica of them in the Neocueva collection.
